Life Groups

 

 

Together for Purpose

 

LifeGroups are where we get together and really do church! These are regular groups that meet together to share God's Word, pray, explore giftings, and engage in society with Christ's life as well as partake in one another's joys and burdens.

 

Three LifeGroups in Portlaoise each week:

 

LIFEGROUP: Thursday Evenings led by Suzanne Carrol

WOMEN'S LIFEGROUP: Thursday Evenings led by Anna O’Rourke

MEN'S LIFEGROUP: Tuesday 1 to 2:00pm at Midway foodcourt led by James Krechnyak

 

These groups meet each week. It is where the life of the Church exists. Within these groups we hold Bible study, worship, prayer meetings, outreach, fellowship, and pastorally minister to the everyday needs of the people. If you are desiring deeper connection in the Church, then LifeGroups are the place for you!

The LifeGroups Mission:

 

1.  To be a house of prayer.

2.  To be a place for people to develop a deeper relationship with God through worship, teaching, discussion, and personal application.

3.  To help people build meaningful and intimate relationships that will result in genuine Christian community.

4.  To be a safe environment for people to develop their talents and calling with emphasis of using those gifts to serve within the Body of Christ.

5.  To be a group of people that care for practical and spiritual needs of others, both within the group and outside of the group.
