VISION STATEMENT

 

Portlaoise Family Worship Centre is a local church that is committed to worshipping Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour while serving the needs of those in our community and around the world.

 

 

OUR MISSION

 

1. To develop 'God-centred' lives, resulting in heart-felt worship.

 

2. To be a church where people can understand and experience God's love, forgiveness and healing.

 

3. To help people develop a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

4. To train, equip, and release people to be ministers of the Gospel.

 

5. To be a church that is actively involved in seeing the "Great Commission" fulfilled on a local, regional, national, and international level.

 

Isaiah 61:1-3 
"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me 
to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD'S favor and the day of vengeance of our God, 
to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion-- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, 
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. 
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor."
