Why LifeCycle?
Spiritual Growth is one of the main issues that surrounds the life of a Church. We believe that spiritual growth does not come by spiritual chronological age, and that it is possible to remain on "milk" 20, 30, 40 or 50 years. We desire to see spiritual babies take responsibility to grow up and train the next generation by becoming a spiritual parent. Here are some of the marks that we believe come with spiritual maturity:
* Having a personal, intimate and consistent relationship with God.
* Taking an active role in vulnerable and intimate relationships that promote growth within the Body.
* Having the Kingdom of God at the centre of one's life.
* Actively involved in reaching the lost by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of those God calls us to minister to.
We recognize the times and seasons of God. It is not right to expect a baby to live to the standard of a teenager, but neither is it right for a grown adult to behave as a child. We are all in different places in God's process. Some of us mature quicker than others. Our job is not to compare our output, for output does not necessarily reflect heart. Our goal is to meet people where they are at, and help them in their journey to achieve the next level, and by doing so, we will create a cycle of growth that will continue to help us grow closer to God, each other, and in fulfilling that which God has called us to.
